I ghost on this forum sometimes lol I just read the comments .But wow Prince and everybody else has a right to their opinion.Anything gay related is always a touchy subject .I don't believe in gay marriage as well , and maybe prince has done things in the past but people do change .But most need to get over it already. Alot of people feel the way prince does he just happen to say it in public and he's famous so it becomes a much bigger deal.But people who are not famous say things like that all the time lol | |

This is no surprise if you happen to read Alex Hahn's book on Prince. Alex makes the case with quotes from members of The Revolution that Prince became anti-gay. The thing about Prince's fans, and what separates him from most other performers, is that his fans are LOYAL and truly inspired and touched by the music. Prince can allegedly say or do whatever and true fans which most are, will not stray. His musicianship is so awesome and genuine and true rockpopsoul  that his fans are forever dedicated. The only other artist with loyal fans like that is Elvis. The man been  for I dunno how long and he still sells records and has a worldwide following. Most other artist lose some of their fans b/c quite simply the fans grow up and the music and imagery becomes dull and repetitive. the other great thing about Prince fans is that we are so diverse, i don't think any two fans are alike...def not cookie cutter like MJ or Madge fans.
