Is this a bad time for 21 nights book?

with the current economy and people losing jobs left and right do you think that this may have been a bad time to put out a book with rich glamorous shots that comes with a 50 dollar price tag?

just a thought

I just thought maybe most people can't relate to it. Like do I really have 50 bucks to spend on a book with pictures of someone so rich at a time like this, 50 bucks is a gas bill paid, or at least partially

i think organzing a event that cost over $300 bucks even tho it was 4 charity was more of a bad thing 2 organize during this financial hardships
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I don't think they meant is it a bad time for prince, but rather is it a bad time for us to spend $50 on it.

Okay, well...that's a personal choice that really has nothing to do with Prince. shrug

The worst time to spend $50 on it is when it's available for as low as $28-30 from different online vendors.

Mine only cost 30 dollars, and if you really want something you'll find a way to get it. Things are not gonna get any better anytime soon, next year this time you'll be saying "these were the good old days." confused

I think the people who were expected to buy it have bought it. Poor economic times weren't going to prevent them from purchasing it.

Mine cost £15 new from amazon, which at the current exchange rate is $22.

Nobody should be spending 50 bucks on it when it's available much cheaper. You just gotta shop around.

I think the 3,153 views of the 'ACHTUNG!!! DO NOT POST SCANNED IMAGES FROM PRINCE'S NEW BOOK ON THE ORG!!!' thread is probably a higher number than the sales of this book.

It's never a good time for a crap photobook like that. Sheesh, his fans weren't buying that crap when it was a) well done, b) cheaper and c) Prince was actually popular and relevant. And d) there wasn't an internet where you could easily find plenty of pics.
