Really digging this tune from Live at the Alladin.

Can anyone tell me a little more about it? Is it one of Prince's? A cover? Is there an official copy?

I always thought Prince should further explore his channeling of Count Basie and the whole big band thing as he ages. He wears it well and has the talent and chops to pull it off.

It's a Prince song, introduced during the One Nite Alone tour as a medley with 'Strollin'', from which it segues. The lyrics were published at one point on the official site.

The only official version is the Las Vegas video recording on DVD to which you refer.

No studio version circulates.
