For years I've avoided listening to this song like it was taboo or something Well, I finally took a good listen to it last night and I must say that when the song was over I was like this OMG!!! Only someone whose really in love and in touch with their inner self could even think of writing such a beautiful song So forget R. Kelly's dumb ass Half on A Baby -Prince says let's make love, let's have a baby

I've always disliked this song.

I've tried to like it, but the melody is just poor.

I was never to bothered about this song until my wife became pregnant. I think you only really get it if you can connect with the excitement, joy and anticipation that expecting a child can bring.

Prince was clearly experiencing this at that time and I can really relate to some of the lyrics such as "wondering what it will sound like, coming from a girl or a boy". Prince really captures that special time!

It is a beautiful song, and so sad to hear after you know of Prince's loss.

I love that song. When it came out, I was in a relationship with a guy for a long time and he would play this song over and over. I just recently started listening to this song again and it made me cry...I wish it was instrumental...the keys are soooo beautiful...

I could never listen whole song, because of what happened with Prince´s baby, I feel a sense of sadness to hear it

I love this song, it's so tender and sweet.

Speaking of songs that make you cry, I can't listen to "Come Back", after what happened to Prince's baby. I have the strong feeling that he wrote that song about the child he lost.

My husband and I are wanting to adopt a baby SOO badly and
when ever I hear this song I feel sad.... and I can feel
Prince and Matye's saddness too.
When he talks about can't take a ride with out thinking
of a little one by his side...
Gosh.. I do that all the time.... Wondering what it would
be like to have a little one in the car when I run errands
or we go on vacations..

I don't like how the song kinda gets "off" in some parts...
but over all its a wonderful song and I am sure mayte was
SO happy when she heard it and Prince was SOO in love when
he wrote it..
Now THAT is ONE song I would LOVE to hear in Concert!!!!!

An absolutely beautiful song...That will always be beautiful.
