New sampler containing "Another Lonely Christmas"?

I've recently heard rumour that Prince's "Another Lonely Christmas" (Long Version) is/will be featured on a (new?) V.A.-sampler by Warner Bros. Does anybody got more info on that?

I already have a cd entitled something like, "A Black Christmas". Is this what you are taking about?

I'm not quite sure. It's a sampler with Brian Wilson on it.

Of the Beach Boys...I'm going to say it's not the same one (unless Bryan Wilson is black)

I've found more info on that. Not a "new" compilation anyway:

In 1987, Warner Brothers issued a LIMITED EDITION PROMO ONLY CHRISTMAS ALBUM that featured exclusively recorded holiday greetings and songs done specifically for this project-which was a promotional marketing tool to promote the featured artist's current albums and singles. Titled after the vintage holiday ditty "Yulesville" by EDD "KOOKIE" BYRNES (of 77 Sunset Strip fame)the album featured a plethora of superstar talent (MADONNA does a personal plea to holiday drivers to not to "drive drunk"...GEORGE HARRISON offers up his holiday greeting, as does BEACH BOY BRIAN WILSON-who wrote new original backing music for his two different holiday greetings). The "greetings" and songs were given to radio stations in the US to play during the holiday season as a way to keep Warner artists top of mind with the radio programmers.
Other notable selections include:

*AZTEC CAMERA: Roddy Frame donates an original, the "Hot Club Of Christ"-which was previously released in '81 only in the UK.

*DEPECHE MODE: Dave Gahan offers up two different holiday messages.

*ERASURE: Their own version of "Silent Night".

*JULIE BROWN: The hilarious lil' redhead cooks up a letter to Santa...just wonder if she's been naughty or nice, eh?

*RAMONES:Joey Ramone penned "Merry Christmas (I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight)" specifically for this record. The band later remixed it for commercial release as a b-side a few years later...but this is the ORIGINAL version, as Joey intended.

*THE BEE GEES: The Brothers Gibb holed up in the legendary Amigo Studios in North Hollywood, California (where all the old Little Feat, Doobie Brothers, and Van Halen records were first recorded) and sang an Acapella holiday greeting using their own "Holiday" as the musical motif. Quite brilliant, really.

*NEW MONKEES: OK, we know there's a few of you out there in eBayland that are die hard NM fans, and if you don't have this...it's time to empty the auction piggybank and pony up the dinero dudes...The New Monkees wrote "What I Want For Christmas" specially for this project...and it's unavailable anywhere else.

*LOS LOBOS: Lobos fans most likely know about "Rudolph The Manic Reindeer" a track the guys recorded for another Warner holiday record, but "The Christmas Song" predates "Rudolph" by a few years, and it features a killer Steve Berlin sax solo too!

*FLEETWOOD MAC: Christine McVie took a few minutes after a show in Boston to record this pair of holiday messages (in her dressing room shower!).

*PRINCE: Closing out the album is another hard to find classic, "Another Lonely Christmas"-the original full length, long version b-side that's been long out of print and is not on any album or CD.
