Just to see how Prince would react, I'd take a white poodle and have him/her professionally dyed purple and present him with it.

I've seen pink and blue poodles. Purple couldn't be that much of a stretch.

One of my friends is a dog groomer!

You know that random ass dog that Jill Jones has in Purple rain when she's hangin' out in the Rev's dressing room for no reason? What kind is that? All I see is a big 'ol fluffy blur, but it looked like a fun looking dog.

My white spitz that I had dyed Purple one year...died this past september....He was my second dog...my first dog was 19 when he left, He was a peek-a-poo, mutt...
Anyway, I would probably stick to catz...I love dogs...although I have tired of the responsibility. If the dog was desperate for a home...etc. etc. Or the dog belonged to Prince, I would accept the dog and love him or her.

a doberman, pitt bull or rotteweiller. stop all the gay dogs. prince needs a masculine one. mickey rourke loves chihuahua just to balance.

It should be a friendly and tender dog especially with him

When I died my dog Purple in October of either 99' or 00' and His Purple portrait still hangs on the wall here...I had made sure to change my beware of dog sign to "Beware of Purple dog." I had to..I had gotten him from the Kennel...and the hearding breeds can be chasers...and He was...He chased after any kind of wheels...and had ripped jeans and superficial bites that restricted his freedom. He was just an ankle biter...not a viscious dog...and He chased after semi's too. But He was a great protector...very faithful and loving..especially with children and cats...unless the kids were on rollerblades...He didn't like that.
