It's impossible to compare an album to anything unless you've heard it... ESPECIALLY if it's Prince who's putting out the album.
So how you like THAT... Sucka! LOL But I would hope to be able to compare it to The Truth or Sign o' the Times. Something that's out of this world, and blows us away. As a whole, there was nothing ground-breaking in his last few efforts, although I enjoyed the last 3, and listen to them from time to time. I still go back to the Girl 6 Soundtrack though. ART combined!  The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else! |

For all you suckas that don't know about the rumor of Prince's next album, I'll break it down for you.
This engineer/recording guy was helping this chick with her album but got interrupted when the purple one called him out of nowhere and asked him to work on an album. The guy wrote about it somewhere, saying he was extremely busy with the project and was a month or something like that in. This was around a month or two ago in LA in think. Well it's kind of a bluesy rock with a slice of love funk and it's different from the Prince albums of the past...I would just go get it tonight...It's at Target.
