The unreleased HIGH album I've only heard a couple of tracks off this, and was wondering if anyone had a complete track-listing, along with any comments people may have regarding the album. Is it any good? Do you think it would have done well upon release? Any info would be great.

High
My Medallion Golden Parachute Gamillah U Make My Sunshine (with Angie Stone) When Will We B Paid ? Supercute Underneath The Cream The Daisy Chains so far these are the only songs I'm quite sure were INTENDED for the project... Can someone add others? Anyway, judging by those songs it would have made a terrfic funky album!!! "Goodness will guide us when love is inside of us... The Force will be with you, always"

I think When I lay my Hands on U was also intended for the High Albumn.
I also think all the tracks appeared on NPGMC year 1 over the course of the year. Best tracks are When I lay my Hands on U and Gamillah and Super Cute. And U Make my Sunshine (not sure that this was intended for 'High' When will we b paid is pretty good too. the first 4 of the above are great, the rest of the albumn is somewhat passe/. Over all this albumn was better shelved. Daisy Chain is relatively rubbish, as is Underneath the Cream, My Madillion, golden Parachute. Title Track VERY commercial minded, good at the end when voice goes super sonic high but unsatisfying somehow.

I personally am glad he never did release any of this. Now Underneath The Cream, SuperCute, U Make My SunShine and , WHen I lay My Hands On U are good but the rest is weak IMO. I was extremly more satisfied with The Rainbow Children. It was just more interesting. I don't like the pop stuff, Give me some weird rock/funk/r&b/pop shit. Not top 40 garbage, That's what i got from the HIGH sessions- Basically Rave pt.II

The album 'High' never existed!!
Look, my chums, an album is really only an album when it's released. If it's not released then it's still open to change, right up until the last moment (such as with The Gold Experience). So High is not an album, it may have been a prospective one but why critique it when it was unfinished?! Secondly, there is much evidence that this tracklisting does not constitute the High album but was merely the tracks given on a CDR to a dj. Even looking at the arrangements, it is very hard to see Prince releasing this in the supposed track order. So, High the album does not exist!!

Its funny to hear ALL the Rainbow Children downing this group off songs. God forbid we call it the HIGH album. Oh, how dare us. If these songs are the Unrelease-ables, how the hell did TRC ever see the light of day. Oh I remember now, it was the year one, October flavor of the month, download. ---------------------------------
