That would mean revealing the actual number of NPGMC members, which would probabbly be embarassing.

Even if there were only 1000 members, could you imagine sifting through all those names to find yours?

You have to check the extended DVD of Lord of the Rings. They have 19 minutes (!) of names in the quotations at the end of fan club members.
And not one name in one line, but around 5 or 6 names in one line and written really small.

i don't think that would be embarrassing for the "fams" that really vibe Prince like that as they have paid their dues and truly deserve recognition.

this year, the zappa family released a live zappa album from a 1976 concert, and included an insert that listed everyone who pre-ordered the 2cd set. it allegedly had 5000 names on it. i found mine. so, it has been done already and is possible.

They should just be honest and stick a link to Prince.Org on the inlay card
