In the great scheme of things is there a single current R&B male who you would rate better musically or live than P?. I was watching a re-run of the MTV USA awards and watching these so called new R&B stars. Seriously, what a bunch of robots, same sounds, similar voices, disposable identikit music, mostly miming, same dance moves and hardly anyone playing an instrument!. I think it's damn depressing that the country that brought us Motown is now reduced to this. Now compare MR. P, there really isn't a single R&B artist who I can rate higher or wish that P would follow their lead. P totally rules that scene. [Edited 10/16/08 9:05am] | |

No one will ever have the whole package! May-be sexy but can't sing, may-be ugly but can sing, And not talking about the ability to play instruments and record.  I can go on and on...

It's all what's in style now....cookie cutter...
I can go on and on but that's what I think why almost all R&B males sound alike. Prince is not just R&B though, he's all types of music... No one can touch that status God has broke the mold when he made this one! Um... let me warm up my vocals
