When I was a teenager and even into my mid-20s, I would spend anything for new Prince music or concert tickets. I would stay up late to catch him on a talk show, or show up early to get one of his new albums on release day. Now, with bills and a 40+ hour workweek, it's just not a priority at all. If his music had remained consistently great, then it might be another matter. |
