This is the jam on the Indigo Nights live CD, this is the jam.

I know lots of people on here have hung this release out to dry, but I do think everyone's expectations are just too high and slightly unrealistic. Of course, I cannot get enough of Prince's Indigo Aftershows, they were awesome (I witnessed 2 of them live myself two feet from the man and the band). Ideally I wish he had released a much wider selection of jams (all in perfect sound quality just like Indigo Nights), but realistically, what could we expect, and the Indigo Nights set is just perfect as far as I am concerned and overall reflects well the flavour of the shows (yet to hear the Chaos & Disorder set mind you, which sounds the bomb) - anway.. back to the jam -

ROCK STEADY (w/ B Knight) / WHOLE LOTA LOVE - SHOW YOUR LOVE!!!

I'm in love! This is one of the best moments on 'Indigo Nights', he's so rough and delightful on the guitar, especially on 'Whole Lotta Love'.

Can't wait for the next big city residency, or tour, or occasional concert... or whatever live experience there will be.
