Prince best songs when he sings

in his Baritone voice.
I know he sounds beautiful in his signature falsetto but what is his best songs when he sings in a lower range

Baritone??? I thought his voice was in the tenor range. Although, he does have quite a vocal range, even though he uses falsetto, but it is a controlled one. I like it when he sings Gotta Broken Heart Again. biggrin

Opposed to the Falsetto, I suppose lol

He does quite a bit of his lower register in "Damn u" but also a lot of falsetto lol but I just love his vocals in that song cool

"Diamonds & Pearls" is probably the only one I can think of where he does baritone hmmm

I wouldn't call his voice tenor. Its closer to baritone...but I still don't think thats it. Most people call his natural register baritone...so I'd go with that for convinience. Anyway, regardless...I DO prefer his natural deeper voice. And he uses it so seldom on records. Damn. Its so nice.

Just listened to AND watched the video for "Little Red Corvette"

ah man, I love the way he sings that song mushy
I think if it was the first video of his that I ever saw (instead of "1999"), I think I would have been in love a lot quicker wink

From the time I saw 1999's video the first time, it took me nearly 8 years before I officially became a fan of his music and him as an artist cool
