Of course it could be his niece or the child of one of his employers. It's however the only time I've heard/seen something about a possible child of his. And I don't think it's that strange, Prince seems like someone to keep a possible child of his private. I think that's so cool if he did.
I just checked the "properties" of the pics and I downloaded them 25 Oct. 2005 so these pics are already 3 years old.

I must say I found the performance of him at Monaco absolutely horrible, his Swedish soccer clothes and him being way too skinny but I've been to some concerts of him back then and they were banging, he looked banging and it was just a look he had those years, it fitted.
I guess with him changing his looks drastically every few years we will remain scratching our heads every now and then when looking back but everything fits in that specific timeframe, he's always some years ahead of us.
