Did Prince per4m "Rave" in Minneapolis? I remember Robyn Robinson on Channel 9 years ago had came to the northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis to promote the Rave album and did indeed per4m Rave while he was sick. I rememebr her saying that on the news and that they were waiting 4 him to come back out. I never heard that song live...was that true? Was it good? Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I heard the song RAVE performed back in 1999 at a paisley park concert.
It was interesting to hear live, however, it was very robotic with little if any band participation other than keying up the loop sample.

best version of rave is from small club in 1988 man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Hmmm....I wonder if he had changed that Northrop thing to paisley instead at the time. I think thats what I heard. And I do have Small Club. That version is cool too. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
