That depends...U talking about the casual fans
that loved P back in 84? They got old and fat, and
spit out countless babies and now complain that
it's too cold outside and now can't live without
a multitude of pills to pop.
Hardcore fans are still around...they're the only
ones who count anyways. biggrin
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

You need to quit trippin and strereotyping--I look not a day over 23-24 ..old and fat? I'll put a boot up your ass and will go out in the cold late night..and the pills I will pop, not for survival but for recreation.

Okay, a bit bigger in the sides, poin taken.

And yes, fed up with sitting outside waiting for tickets and concerthalls, but if you have done that since 1986 you'ld be too.
I feel increasingly silly surrounded by nitwits whoms entire universe is about Prince girlfriend (or wife? OOH OOH! Who cares) or how many specials 12"s he or she has.
The silly people who wear like 20 laminates to show off, please!

Oh well. Prince's new music means less and less to me and I am glad he finds a new audience. I have been looking into different things LONG ago and I am very happy with the music he gave me that I do[ like...

We all grow, but sometimes in different directions...

But I'll keep coming here to tease the silly folk and keep updated, because Prince still has one of the most amazing voices in the music biz.
Wish he'ld do real gospel though. Yearn to hear him sing "Walk Over God's Heaven"
"Everybody talking 'bout Heaven ain't goin' there..."

For the fans that were babies in the 80's, you missed out on one of the best decades of popular music. It will never be that good again.

Being a Prince fan in the 80's was a lot of fun.

Old and fat? Not hardly, just older and wiser.
Don't worry,it will be your turn someday if you are lucky.
