There have been a number of covers done of Prince's music. I would like to know people's favorites and least favorites.

Phish did a good version of Purple Rain
Alicia Keys did a good version of How Come You Dont Call Me
Living Colour did a good version of 17 Days

Hated Mariah's version of The Beautiful Ones
Hated the late 90's version of "WHen Doves Cry" (cant remember who did it)
Never cared for Tom Jones version of Kiss

TLC version of If I Was Your Girlfriend was acceptable.

There are so many more.

i didn't mind that hindu love gods (some guys from REM + warren zevon) cover of "raspberry beret" way back in the day - it was kind of a folksy alterna-jangle pop version, but the song lent itself well to the sound.

I dig TLC's cover of IIWYG, but even better is their cover of 'Get It Up' from the Poetic Justice soundtrack. Now that shit is funky. That was a great song for them to cover and they pulled it off really well.
