R U talking about a long stay in Vegas or something? If so, If Prince were 2 set up shop...I'd go anywhere if money allowed me 2, although I couldn't make it 2 Vegas...I didn't have it. cool

just as in to attend for a night.

like in London, i believe that some came from all over Europe.

but if it was in the states, would some from London (for example) travel to the states just to attend a few shows?

just curious.

i didn't get to attend the Vegas 'residency(?)' either.

isn't that what was mentioned in an article or other last week, that he was planning another 'big city residency'?

I would go depending on location, air fare, accommodation and getting time off from work to fly and attend 1 or 2 shows.

hopefully, by next year, i'll be free to go to a couple of shows too.

getting off from work will be no problem for me, they know that i'm not committed to the job, and am planning to up and leave one day.

Depends on how much notice and overall costs.

overall costs will be the #1 factor.Second factor: if it will be the last time prince will perform his greatest hits, i'll probably will not go, except when #1 is very very low. (so if show can be reached within a few hours drive).

I am in London, and would travel anywhere in Europe, would possibly consider New York or Vegas for a weekend.

I believe that if U are going to stay in one location as Prince did in Vegas, if a tour has become tiring, than I would choose Missouri. It's the most practical draw for driver's. cool

I'm originally from St.Louis and right now I'm only a few hours from it. I say bring it to the "Show Me State"!

I'd definitely go from London to New York. Maybe not to LA despite having family in CA - it's just too expensive to fly and not as exciting as NY.

Anywhere in France, Italy, Spain - big places in Western Europe are all fine and easy to zip to and from.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I would go anywhere in Europe so long as we would have pleny of notice to organise time off etc, would also consider the states but again plenty of notice would be needed, id do anything to see him play again, would so love something like that to look forward to, if he was doing 21 nights again, id get in at least 5 of the shows!

Vegas, for sure (didn't get to go last time) but ideally it would be New York.

i'll need to consider the travel too, since i'll travel alone.

i wouldn't want to get lost.

sounds like you your options well and know what will work for you.

what if it's somewhere else in the states besides NY? will you still consider it then?

there is always a next time anyway.

i didn't get to go to Vegas or London (didn't even consider them) but maybe this time around i will go.

don't even know just yet that there will be one, although it was 'mentioned' in the article last week.

guess we'll see.

a setlist that the focus is on his current music since emancipation and no hits. if he did that, then i would consider it.
