Rhino Purple Rain vinyl release delayed STATUS REPORT Looks like the limited edition 180-gram vinyl of Purple Rain is going to be delayed. I got an email from my local wrecka stow today, saying the new date is 10/21.
Amazon is still saying 9/8. Not sure when that might change...but I thought those who expressed an interest earlier might like to know. MODS: This thread is about an official release. Please do not delete it on the grounds that it refers to a bootleg (as happened earlier).  I did not know about this! So cool.  Will it have the orginal inner sleeve with Doug Handers' face painting???  I'm guessing the When Doves Cry poster won't be included...or will it? If it is, then I will scream with joy.
