is there an Unreleased Version of "I Dont Wanna Leave U" Because... Is there one? Because on the album (What Time Is It?), it seems as if they had not enough time to keep jamming by the end, all of a sudden in the middle of the jam a big loud keyboard part comes on and the beat sounding totally different...this is a weird edit that was not unheard or missed by my ears! If you're serious, afaik there are no other versions The trick ending is something that he used a lot on his Time etc. song endings..I think its Beatles ala Glass Onion and Sly Stone Stand trick ending influences. "Climb in my fur."

On another thread,DMSR and I were discussing this very topic. We both agreed that the ending of "I Don't Wanna Leave You" is great.I love the way the song fades out, with a totally different beat.I don't think they ran out of space or anything,I think that's how Prince originally wanted it to end.
Btw,I think "I Don't Wanna Leave You" would have made a kickass single back in 1983.

This song sounds more "Prince" than the Time.
Just like on Controversey Lets Work sounds more like a "Time" song. [This message was edited Thu Nov 21 5:41:07 PST 2002 by LIBRA] Everybody's lookin 4 the ladder, it's in the garage
