Prince song? Did Prince make a song called Can you Love Me...real early 80's sound with a chorus like "Can u luve me...Baby can u help me" If so which album is it on...I'm at work and it just came on through a midday mix.....so I cannot dive into my cd collection! Hello!
I'm pretty sure you're thinking of 'Can You Help Me' by Jesse Johnson. It's one of his best solo tracks from the 'Jesse Johnson's Revue' album. You can still get the song on CD on the Ultimate Jesse Johnson collection. I can reccomend it highly. Back in the day Jesse's solo stuff was constantly compared to Prince... but I think their vocals are noticeably different. Good luck! Matt (glamlife) |
