Yes I'm still passionate. though now I express it much differently. I tend to downplay my excitement. But I know when I get the book/cd, my kids are going to be complaining about me enjoying it like they do their games!

I am, Prince is awesome! Every CD i don't have yet is like a new CD I've never heard before. It's so cool to listen to them for the first time, it's like he just made all these CDs and now I can listen to them

i'm laid back about it these days - at least, i'm laid back about stuff like new CDs, books, DVDs, etc.

i get a little more geeked when he surprises us with new music on the web, just because i like surprises.

i guess i am as excited as i have ever been when i go to shows, because when the man plays his guitar, it's as exciting to me as it ever was. and it's even better these days because i know more people when i go to prince shows, so that just adds to the fun.

I was cool until my book came today, then BAM. just like he said:

Probably not as passionate as I was in the latter part of the 80s although when I see him live he's still unbeatable even on a bad day.

I get more passionate nowadays finding new bands and trying to persuade people to give it a listen. Nothing better than going into a club and being blown away by a new band you've never heard of before.

Ya know those little mice that they give little electric shocks to until they either don't react to them anymore and sit there, or just happen to get out somehow??? I've stepped off!

i get excited when there's an album on the horizon. and for a few weeks afterward.

i hadn't listened to him in about year until last month. i was claiming his music back for myself from the wreckage of a lot of memories.

it was a really nice experience. that's my favorite way to listen to Prince: when i haven't in a really long time, and just get hardcore about it for a few weeks. it reminds me of why i'm a fan. after all this time, his music is like a part of my personality that i like accessing.

but unless it has to do with the actual music, i find i could care less. and i don't hunt down information or news or even releases like i used to.

i like new music
even when it's old music that i haven't heard yet
that's what gets me excited
i tend to geek-out most these days over live performances
especially when he caters to us the most

Im again passionate ,in the 80´s we were Princefans since he released " 1999", but then lost the contact to his music completely in the 90`s until a friend of mine told me about the ONA live album since this point pasionate again . Saw him perform live last year in London for the first time and was blown away !!

Absolutely. I got my book last night and when I saw the Amazon box it was in, my insides were like I still get a thrill in my heart when a new Prince project comes out. It's so exciting! I'm as passionate with Prince now as I was with Prince when I was a child.

i'm not insanely passionate, but i like the fun in being a fan. going to the live shows, listening to new music and yes, when my amazon box finally arrives i know i'll be all giddy.

I wore my Fury shirt for luck today...so my 21 Nights finally comes.

I never left Prince but I always put him away for a little bit when i am getting obsessive.
