Just been watching an old episode of 'The Simpsons', and Otto the bus drivers shoes spoke to him and said "We dont want 2 hurt u, we only want u 2 have some fun"!. I also remember another episode when Santa's little helper had puppies and one of them was called 'The puppy formally known as Prince'

Does anyone know of any other Prince references in TV shows??

There was a Halloween episode of "Roseanne" where Roseanne dressed up as Prince, circa 1984. She had on the shiny purple suit with the ruffly white shirt, Prince hair and a mustache. It was pretty good!

What about the episode where they are shooting radioactive man in springfield... and the nerdy comic strip guy go's online to see who is going to play "atom boy"... the next scene is the screen divided into 4 boxes with computer geeks typing away the forth one being Prince - 1984 time...

On 1 of the halloween episodes, where they do their own little version of hanzel & gretel, homer reaches the witches house & his way of entering is of course eating thru the walls lol... so after he takes a bite, in his ever so famous 'drooling' voice he goes 'mmm sugar walls' hehehe ... dont ask me how i know this since i dont like simpsons... oh no

On the Golden Girls the oldest one, Sophia lay down on a sun lounger and put her Walkman headphones on. She closed her eyes and after a short pause she raised both arms and majetically sang out loud "Purple Rain, Purple Rain"

It was so funny to see this cranky but funny old lady sing my man's song - had me in stitches for a few minutes.

There was an episode of Martin where he was trying to spend time with Gina and he brought over some popcorn and her favorite movie Purple Rain but she replied and said,"that's not my favorite movie The Color Purple is". Martin said,"at least I got the color right.

Thought of another Simpsons one: When the world was going to end, (the comet one?) Kent Brockman said something about how as a journalist you come across many pieces of information that you just can't share, but now it didn't matter so "the following people are gay." Then a list of names scrolls quickly down the screen. One of them is .

Phil Lamarr used to do a hilarious Prince on Mad TV, but he's gone. They got the makeup, hair, clothes right on, and he didn't make the usual mistake of speaking in a high squeaky voice. They did a "Nutty Professor" spoof with Aries Spears playing all the Eddie Murphy roles around the dinner table (with all of the farting, etc.). There has been a few references on Dark Angel as well;

1- One of the characters dressed as P on halloween(PR look)

2- Max is about to go out and states 'I'm gonna party like it's 2099'

3- Joshua(dogboy) looks at something and says 'starfish and coffee'

There just a few others i've seen.

Also the list with the Symbol on it(Kent's list from the Simpsons) was either which celebrities were gay or had criminal records.
