"I'm still not sure if U really Love Me."

"I'm still not sure if U really Love Me."

The Lion of Judah is a very strong declaration for a true following.
As a Prince music lover I feel the need 2 respond to the fact that Prince states that he will strike his enemies down.

I feel spiritually inclined to offer a word 4 a friend in Prince if He were to read this.

An enemy wouldn't care enough 4 your soul to offer this spiritual note of deep thought.

The experiences that money buys is where someone's self-esteem declines, and in Prince's case, those of us that know his heart, know that he has suffered with guilt due to extreme financial grace.

As a friend, I must come eye 2 eye with a man I love dearly and offer a Christian word...

"Creating your own Valley of Temptation to overcome, does not a sacrifice make. If it is the valley of temptation that you choose to sow, so also may you reap."

Maybe that is a judgement, where Prince could turn to me and say, "Careful now, the next one might be you." I would say, although I am a sinner, as you are, living a life of celibacy for me has been avoiding the valley, not walking through it.
Life isn't a lingere parade and tagging wings to your bra, and that is not romantic either, it's commercialised hypocrisy. The video's that are produced from now on, need to be spiritually investigated, if you believe in "The Holy River."

As my God is living, surely the trumpet will sound. What I have just said, is a tone of truth for those that accept it. This is a sharp philosophy for us all to bear.

yes...this song is my favorite one....it is very powerful....you have to be very spiritual to understand its meanings...it has many....ideally we must make a friend out of an enemy...we know this because we have awaken...but many...many...haven't...those that want to ridicule and judge...those are the ones that get struck down...their goal can not be accomplished...they failed...the bible has many stories...all life experiences...those of us that are truly wise will accept its teachings...accept the Word of God in our lives...ultimately..we will be much happier and the end result will be full-filling...i recommend it...mzsexybaby sexy...p.s.....look further down at my other post on this subject it gets technical...preach on sister peach.....

i don't know if Prince will read ur above post, but i did. And of course i definitely want to comment.
#1 Prince should not feel any guilt for being wealthy due to his hard honest work and Artistic Genius. He has made an Honest living and should Happily enjoy his success and money.
#2 Prince is not the only man to have sex with many women having sex is good and healthy, its all mutually consentual. Prince has Good Karma.
#3 i actually take offence to ur statement that future videos need to be "spiritually investigated". i take offense to this as a person who lives in the USA that fought hard for Freedom and Freedom from oppression.
So, if i misunderstood what u meant than i take it back, but i feel i understood ur meaning well.
And why should Prince do what u say he should? i would just like to know, and i ask respectfully and friendly.
Oh and money does not buy experience- thats a stupid comment!!!!!

Prince makes a statement about how religion has changed him.
Prince first says that he had limited contact with Mia Maetstro from the "Motorcycle Diaries."
Secondly Prince says, "There was a time back in the day where a woman as fine as his shapely love interest from the screening of "Somewhere Here on Earth," would have contained more scenes together.

What I am saying is that, if Prince is going to make such strong statements that a Christian will interpret as his truth, that Prince should know that limited contact is none. Sultry video's with shapely love interests should be avoided all together if you want to support your statement with lifestyle, otherwise, don't say that back-in-the day, is any further than England last year.

Lastly, money buys the experiences that lead to low-self esteem, how someone spends their time with their money is (more likely) to happen to the wealthy.

I guess it's just that the difference between me living a celibate life and Prince living a celibate life, for the sake of two failed marriages, is that Prince associates with temptation in the making of video's or elsewhere.

If I had been a gigalette, and then I went around claiming to be a different person, I wouldn't be hanging around with the smart and sexy, "Blue Angels," in boxer shorts. I don't even go to the airport 2 support my Christian walk. In my opinion, it's best to just say that God loves me 4 who I am in my walk.

Like the Lion of Judah (Judah)
I Strike my enemies down
As my God is living
Surely the trumpet will sound
There was 1 who will stand by my side
Through the good and the bad
Let that 1 stand with pride
The best that I ever had

heart

This song is inspirational. I can identify strongly with it.
Prince talks about overcoming the slings and arrows of enemies.
With God's grace and through faith, the truth will (does) prevail.

Prince knows there is one woman out there who understands the struggle and can hang when the times get tough, that's who will stand by his side (with God's graces) by design. She will love him truly because she will realize her graces under God.

A woman (or man) simply needs to look within and determine what they want for themselves; she can sit in the NFL lockeroom or he can sit in the front row of a cat walk all day and all night admiring the finely tuned heavenly bodies dreaming what if; however, if she or he remains true to their resolve, they meet their committment.

Ooops, mistake. Watchin the debate... cat

Wow Tame you must either be my twin, or your reading my mind big time. Being a christian myself I once again whole heartingly agree with you, I have been thinking this exact thing about Prince for some years now. I have seen him say many things about spirituality but then do things that are not really "proper" is the only word I can think of right now. He is a fence rider he steps into the world sometimes then goes back to the spiritual side for awhile.

The bible says as you know we are to be in the world not of it, that is a very serious statement from God, it requires a complete lifestyle change if we are to take it seriously. I think Prince is trying to mature as a christian, but your right throwing himself, right into the path of temptations is only going to make it harder for him. It is far easier to avoid temptations at all costs, if we know it going to tempt us in the first place. I sincerly hope he gets serious one of these days about being a TRUE christian because I do care about him alot.

OK,since we're all getting Religious around here, i want to say this. i am a Rosicrucian, beliefs are Karma and Reincarnation, Psychic,, and Meditation, and to become ur own Master within ( u know master u self not others). So, with that said, If ur refering to his statement of celibacy he might be referring to the definition which states refraining from marriage per Religious Beliefs. Because we all know he wasn't without sex per videos and reports ofinteresting parties. As reported anyway. So " back -in -the day " would be humor, when u refer to the 21 Nights concert series. Prince probably jokes around just like the rest of the people in the world do. Not to say that he isn't serious about the statement that he is celibate, but i think its definition that refers to refraining from marriage.
2ndly- money can buy unhealthy experiences but they can also be necessary for future experiences. i tried drugs when i was younger. Unhealthy, but i would know if someone slipped me a drug, and i know how i react to one. Thats good and i can knowledgably talk to my children about said drugs that i tried. Thats a good, i could intervene quickly because i can recognize a drugged state on a person, since i have tried drugs. This could help someone. So did money buy me low self esteem or a very valuable expereince that helps notonly me but others too. Also, inpure, corrupt, or malicious thought can also beget experiences that lead to low self esteem. i think ur taking a pot shot at Prince.

I don't get this celibacy thing really. I haven't had sex in years.... so what???? It's not for God or me .... it just is.....and I don't make a point to tell everyone or the world about it. I think it's a good thing for your heart, mind and soul personally and it can help you grow and heal faster from your last experiences so you can be a better person for yourself and others around you.

P.S. I do wonder if Prince's definition of celibacy includes bathing buck naked in Jell-o with a couple beautiful girls (or whatever). That's not sex.... or is it?????

WOW....in years? Good for you. It certainly can mess things up....

Everyone in the world (even non fans) think Prince is a sex 24/7, butt naked women running around. I think he wanted to show everyone that he has grown and is a different man.

I've always had maybe a strange reaction compared to other women. When a man is eager, more than willing or even showing interest in me ..... well I know it sounds funny but I feel "I might as well have had sex with him, I could, Then why bother? Next!" lol Ok, is that weird or just a girl thing..... I think men tend to not believe they can really "make it" with a girl unless they actually do it.....Why waste my time and theirs, (and my body) if I know I already can???? Men seem to have to have sex to conquer women.... I say "If they want me? They are conquered" and like Prince says.....then it's in the air...not the bed.... and that's sexy!!!!!.....of course with time...if the guy sticks around and can hang in there? Then that's another story....That takes a very special man. (and the sex is phenomenal).

To me, that was loving of you as another believer to recognize where adjustments can be made as one who fights the "enemy". I understand what you are saying, too, about creating the valley of temptation, based on what P conveyed in the article with going overseas shooting videos with Mia and Selma, inviting that actress in "Somewhere Here on Earth" to Prague, (even with Chelsea parading around in the low cut, little French maid outfit, etc..) There often is a motive in wanting to create those situations; and that even if things didn't carry over into blatant un-christian encounters, "back in the day" was still there in the present as you said, in possibly bringing reproach on his God, even publicly.

It's clear that some people like his "walk" and some don't. Regardless of what any human says, his allegiance is to "his" Creator and Father who art in Heaven, bottomline. If he says he's celibate (not having sex outside of the marital arrangement), so be it. If he lies and he's really coming up out of his draws, or engaging in acts that got him walking a fine line into sex, his God, Jehovah, "sees everything", and it is Him who he answers to. If he's allegedly hoteling and/or allowing women to spend the night at his home and there is or isn't any sex, he is still supposed to "beware even the appearance of evil" which allows people to slander His Father, too. A man named John once said, "the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father,..." So if one believes this they will swim in "the holy river" if they don't really have faith in it, their lifestyle will indicate it and they will continue to dwell in it. There is no crime in being wealthy and having a beautiful home, but the "showy", hedonistic way in how some utilize it for ill means/"experiences" can certainly be indicative of one's self esteem (as you stated) or lack thereof. Because it begs to ask, "Why do you feel the need to execute these things?". Any guilty feelings Prince would have due to "extreme financial grace", if it be greed or ill motives would be positive in reflecting that he has a conscious; and as a believer, he should make adjustments, as any "believer" should. Prince has been an international rock star for over 30 years and I know it has been a battle to overturn deeply entrenched things. But, he can be consistent in his "walk" IF he wants to because there have been many who have, who came before him.

(giggle) Sometimes he reminds me of Solomon, wealthy and powerful and yeah, with a harem of sorts (for Solomon though it was 60 queens, 80 concubines at the time) encompassing him. But, in the midst of all of his glory, in walked a dignified Shulamite girl who was too cool to join "The Harem-ettes", etc... and floored him so that he wrote "the superlative Song of Solomon" about her. With Prince mentioning the "right" woman he's going to have to realize that any "right" woman has dignity, self love, self esteem and respect for herself. The "right" woman isn't that daughter of Pharaoh, or one of the Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian and Hittite woman crew who really cared nothing about Solomon's "walk" eventually assisting him in turning left and falling for good. But, any "right" woman will "walk" the same "walk" with a "right" man.

Tame, may your words rest with him and permeate his heart in sincerity. You have a good head on your shoulders. May you yourself, drink the wine and Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful. cool

"For a female to overcome temptation, she must first spend twenty years in the NFL locker room...If she has not even thought about having sex with a man, she has prevailed." T

By the way, let's start here. "For some celibate women to overcome temptation, they must first get through that hormonal, pulling out your hair,"I need me a man, now!!" phase that happens right before she releases that egg each month!" Hello? lol But, with faith comes self control, right? biggrin

"For some celibate women to overcome temptation, they must first get through that hormonal, pulling out your hair,"I need me a man, now!!" phase that happens right before she releases that egg each month!" Hello? lol But, with faith comes self control, right? biggrin

amen!

That's not sex.... or is it?????
lol lol lol lol lol

WOW....in years? Good for you. It certainly can mess things up....

Everyone in the world (even non fans) think Prince is a sex 24/7, butt naked women running around. I think he wanted to show everyone that he has grown and is a different man.

Thanks Prime, I just wanted my body (and soul) all to myself for awhile. Learn, grow and move forward. It sorta renews ya, ya know. Then I get to start all over again!!! biggrin wink hugs

Wow this post was beautifully worded, I had to post it again. Truly words of wisdom. Peace and love.

I was being sarcastic with the locker room thing because to associate with high volumes of beautiful women does not reflect the temptation to avoid it.

I understand that with Prince in the entertainment field that it is a fine line. And true it is that God knows Prince's heart, however, the video's is where Prince appears to cross a line in my eyes, and that is because 4 one thing..."The Somewhere Here on Earth," video appears to be about a woman that is most likely not the girl in the film.

Prince deliberately was willing to spend his time and money with her, and then says..."Back in the day," I would have written more scenes with her.
The songs representation should have Prince alone in the video...

All that says to a Prince fan is...Okay, you wrote first and second base, right?

If you are going to make a claim about being different according to your religion, than walk the talk, or don't talk it.

I was sarcastic because, I rarely fraternize with men at all in my celibacy, so if Prince was looking for a woman like me...He would have to admit to himself that I was a woman that had more self control as a woman than He has as a man...in relation to scriptures. And that is okay. My self esteem is how I live, not from appearing higher than who God is responsible for. I would still marry Prince, although I wish that Prince would know that the woman that he wants behaves as I do, not as he behaves.

Watchin the debate... cat

This is just talk here...My opinion is not God's judgements all opinions are judgements in some form or another.

Okay Twinkly...If a man is "dreaming God only knows what at a Cat Walk Parade," Is'nt that possible coveting? According to the bible, "As a Man Thinketh, So is He."

So Prince's resolve is to make a statement about a renewed mind, when the body follows the mind.

Another statement Prince makes due to failed marriages is that If he marries again it will have to be with the right woman, so he has chosen celibacy, and at the same time lives minutes of a lifestyle to bring to the table of a future love.
Because of my failed marriages, I said to myself, I want to bring something pure into my last marriage, so I will avoid loose contact with men, I will make that sacrifice for my beloved.

All that I am trying to tell Prince is that, you can't collect roses of women, and believe that handing that bouquet to Love is romantic. 2008 isn't 33BCE, Prince wants a woman to be devoted to him, but he doesn't want to be devoted to what he brings her.

If Prince doesn't want a female to ridicule him by disapproving his lifestyle and taking her body up with another guitar player like his past wives have...Than why does Prince act like Mr. King Sting...Owner of the Hive?
