When I first got N.E.W.S some years ago I liked the other three tracks, but West was immediately my favorite I love it-I could listen to it over and over again and never tire of it OMG!! Prince's guitar playing in here is to die 4 I remember sitting in the coliseum in Oklahoma City waiting for Prince on the Musicology tour and hearing West playing over the sound system-just beautiful

I'll have to refresh myself with N.E.W.S, it's been about 5 months since listening...

I favored South, although maybe it was because it held the whole thing.

Love that track.
Dunno why, but when i hear it, the earlier part of it has a vibe to it like a more mellow version of Call My Name - i almost expect to hear him sing "i just can't stop writing songs about you, i love you so much".
Following Call My Name with West just seems to fit

I think News is like 2 stars out of 5. Not very good. The songs are too long, the parts within a song often comes across as too unrelated with each other, and the few good parts don't outweigh the mediocre ones.

I like it. North is my favorite.

I love this album, and appreciate that he gave it to us at all, when he had to know that it would be generally dismissed.
