Not so much his life....but his music yes

Yes Prince has been inspirational to me...Most of my beautiful poetry would not exist, had I not have loved him.

Yes. My appreciation for Prince and his music has gotten me through some rough times and for that I thank him

Yes he has, his life and music. He is really the man! Prince has made me feel good when I was feeling like shit, cause his life before he got famous wasn't tat good and for me it's puts everything into perspective when I think about what he's been through and what I've been through. Even though I don't like certain aspects of his personality, his music is like no other in the world. Sometimes when i'm listening to one of his CD's, I wish I could hook him up to one of those brain wave scanners when he's writing and recording an album just to see the activity that's going on through his creative process. Cause you all know that alot of his recording are done off the cuff, totally spontaneous, especially before Purple Rain, almost everything you hear, the screams, the beatbox sounds he makes with his mouth "Let's Work." I wonder if he writes the song, are the lyrics to that song playing in his head while he's laying down every instrument, because everythng he does fits so well around his lyrics.

His music got me through a very bad time in my life when I was going through a bad divorce from an abusive ex.

Princes life is music! He is music in human form its kinda like some fucking mad conspiracy

*kept on loving in the middle of hate
*poked young bucks like JT right where they deserved it
*consistently reminded his fans of very important things
*protected his privacy without hiding it away
*magnetised millions into orbit around his God-given charm and prolific genius
*iconised himself with a living symbol (identity signature)
*sexualised God

Yes indeed.

only artistically. From a human aspect the terrible way the younger Prince crapped all over people inspired me to treat those who help you in life with much more kindness and not to take that for granted. Anyone who needs a lesson on how to treat colleagues and associates like shit need only research P. Hopefully now he is a much better human being.

No it hasn't. His music, maybe, but certainly not his life. he isn't a saint, just a regular human being.

His life is a dissapointment to me. His music couldn't be more the opposite for me.

But his life is a private issue. It's none of my business that he has 2 failed marriages, womanized his whole life until his testosterone levels drop due to middle age, and he passes it off a celibacy. I say lust dies with age thats what. Also the fact that he was (probably, according to pre-2001 lyrics, if he even believed in a word he said) getting to know the Lord until he was lead astray by a cult. People have found their way out of cults with the help of his music. What a waste. I hope he isn't done growing and changing because I sure as hell don't want to see end here. I only care about his personal life because his music is SO GOOD that their must be a great person in there, somewhere.

I am more inspired by my own life than his.
