I know what you mean 2020. If you listen to a lot of his music, Prince surely at times sounds like a phophet!

i know we gotta bail these guys out, but for some reason it kinda feels good to see Wall St. sqirm

Here in california, When Enron screwed us big time, and when people questioned the manipulation of energy costs, and rolling black outs, Wall st.said, " Now you hushh you little mouth it called the free market,dont you worry your pretty little head about it, you're not smart enough to understand"

Whats taking so long to bail out Wall St, ....you know us we're not that smart.

The replies are exactly why I posed the question. With Prince you really never know what he is referring to and in the case of 7 is it leaders, governing bodies, sins, plagues or the stock market? The song is a forward looking song and the coincidence yesterday made me wonder...

Right firstly its not governing bodies cuz theres more than 7 ok, Its not plauges cuz we dont have Swarms of Frogs etc which can easily be pest controlled and hes obviously talking about something that happens everyday and everywhere..not just in bibilic fairy tales

Its Obviously the 7 Sins cuz they are relevant and they happen everyday in every town, in every country all over the world, Its even more obvious with the demonic laughter at the beggining of the track! Demon = Temptation = Sin Phew!
