What's the info behind Sexy MF (Remix)?

This remix is feature on vol. 3 of the Work. It has a sample of the NPG's Return of the bum squad (or may it's the npg jam that samples the remix)

Any purple encyclopias can enligten me?

Is it live a version or just live studio?

yup, they used to play that at the berlin prince night parties too, along with the studio version of "sexy dancer/le freak" and i think there's also a re-recorded version of "kiss" too.

i really wish those recordings would be made available to us. pout

It's an early version of the Sexy MF Remix that wound up on the My Name Is
Prince single in 1992. That particular sample ended up being dropped from the
final mix and turned up a few years later on the Return Of The Bump Squad.

I remember Rashida spinning the studio version of "Prince & The Band" and the new version of "Sexy MF" at one of the London aftershows. They sounded hot for sure.

The re-reorded kiss is from the versace experience 2006 isnt it?

ive got it, its got Around the world in a day, black sweat, kiss and black sweat
all re-recorded with late 2006 line up, no renato or shelby.marva, no horns either.

yeah, i've heard the versace version and i don't think it's the same as what i've heard at berlin, though it certainly could be an edit from the versace medley or it could be from the same session that cranked out the versace recording. there's not a huge amount of difference in style between the two, as i recall. shrug
