I'm listening to The B-Sides from The Hits/B-Sides collection at the moment and am amazed at how good a CD it is. I haven't checked it out for ages, but every song is just magnificent.
My favourite at the moment would be Gotta Stop(Messin' About) as I am in a 1980-82 mood.

I'd have to say, purely for sentimental reasons, 'Escape', as that's the song that got me into Prince in the first place.

After years of not really paying much attention to Prince, I bought the Glam Slam single for 10p in a discount bin because I liked the cover (!). Thought Glam Slam was good, but liked Esacpe so much I went straight out and bought Lovesexy, and the rest is history...

The Whole Damn B-Sides was good. I didnt realize that until i was 17, when I finally gave it all a listen, and was astounded. Later I made a 110 min cassette tape with Love or Money, Sex, and 2 Whom It May Concern on it.
