The truth be said There has been alot of speculation through the years as to why the women in Prince's life have or have not made it in show business. My take on this is, the stage is only so big, we all can't be on it... It seems alot of us want to be famous, but we are all not meant to be that. What is the motivation behind wanting this? Is it our own self promotion that motivates us?
We do not come by our gifts on our own, God gives us all gifts, it is up to us to figure out or ask him what they are, and use them. He gives us free will to use them to praise ourselves or praise him. Our gifts are meant to praise him with or a.k.a (thanking him) for what he has given us. If someone is going to get involved with anyone famous or not, we need to be secure in ourselves and our own gifts (if we know what they are), and not aspect that other person we are involved with to be responsible if we fail. Women to many times view their self worth in the men they are involved with. If we as women continue to put our self worth in men or others around us we will always be disappointed, and never reach our true potential. I learned the hard way, so I speak from experience, my self worth now is not in men (people) of this world but in God alone, the freedom and power in that alone is hard to express in words. My favorite women in the bible was Esther, she is the role model all women should try to follow. My worth...[b]

Oh, dear...
Were you under the impression that we care whether Prince's girlfriends make in show biz? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I agree with what U are saying...not everyone is meant for the stage. My self-worth is not diminished because I am not..."Vanessa Williams." I appreciate women and men that have that talent and charisma but as a child of God we understand that every job has it's importance, and no job is too small to make the world run. We also realize that Love is what makes life worthwhile. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...
