Does anyone like it when Prince screams really loud in his songs - usually does it in falsetto voice? I've never heard anyone else actually scream on key with the music lol. I always laugh when I hear him do it but I'm not laughing at him I just think its so cool he can do that. Any comments?

All I can say is Im a female and even I cant scream that high

I love it. I was listening to "In This Bed I Scream" and "Saviour" earlier today. The screams make those songs.

My wife, on the other hand, HATES his screaming. So I have to listen to all the screaming songs through headphones.

He's got one of those types of screams that just rips your spine clearly out of your body.

Can you imagine that scream on your alarm clock? That will wake the HELL out of you! LOL

I've posted on here quite a bit when it came to P screaming in his tracks. The 1999 album is the tour de force album that contains his BEST ever screams. Then the Purple Rain album is next. P's screams on those two albums were a combination of gospel and just straight out craziness. To me, that was the pure Prince. Prince was at his best when he was angry and crazy. Instead of pulling a gun out on folks, he poured it in his songs at that time. That's why I dig The Black Album so much. He was like "What are these muthafuckers saying about me?! I'm not what? I'm not funky anymore? Is that what their saying?...Oh o.k." So then he did The Black Album. That's what Bob George is really about.

I love it. I do get jealous when I myself can't hit certain notes he can, especially that "ah how how!" he does on Data Bank....it pisses me off. Same goes for James Brown.

I used 2 do talent shows wen I was a teen and gettn that scream down is hard especially on cue. With lots of practice I actually was able and still 2day am able 2 do it. I luv the screams.
