I'll always fight and say how much I love the album. He counters with every possible reason of why it sucks. The only two things that DOESN'T include are "Guitar" and "Somewhere here on Earth"... the only two tracks out of it that he likes CAUSE U KNOW I'M TELLING THE TRUTH..when u going 2 go get the gems thieves in the temple, elephants and flowers, tick tick bang, still would stand all time, joy in repetiton? and u want 2 talk 2 me about planet earth?

I liked it when it first came out. Not so hot on it now, but then again I haven't listened to it in a while.
While I liked the songs Guitar, One u wanna C, and a few others, much of if, for me anyways, was sorta bland, and some of the lyrics were pretty cringe worthy. I also found all of the promotion behind it very confusing. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Planet Earth signaled the last time I buy a Prince album without hearing something from it first. Mr. Goodnight is just so bad that if it were inserted in the middle of the Purple Rain album he'd be sweeping floors in Minneapolis right now.
There's no other Prince album I can't stomach. I don't listen to NPS, Rave, nor N.E.W.S but I wouldn't run out of the room if they came on. Planet Earth gets that distinction. |
