Love is Sexy.
Loving the world’s people is the creator’s intention. Loving stronger idea’s for building a healthier society is the creator’s motivation. Loving your own life with imperfections driving you to perfect, is the creator’s inspiration. Loving someone’s spirit through sexual togetherness is a blessing for those that respect that union as sacred. Sexual attraction is only one element of “Sexy.” That, “Y” at the end of the word, “Sex.” begs to represent a never ending, as love represents an unsolved mystery. Loving a man I have only stood beside of one time has been a mystery to me, day and night since I was a young girl. Prince stood beside me, with his best friend between us, and said, “Thank you for the rose.” I don’t know what to call this love, other than the forever kind. This love is beyond a fan’s love for a musician. Although I have spent 30 years listening to Prince’s music, and watching his career from the sidelines, I have never desired to write a book about him, because all that I know is my love for him, even though writing is something I have done consistently. When Prince sings the words, “Every other page I am on.” My spirit nestles closer to his. When I was a young girl, and the “Prince,” album was released…I felt as if I had known Prince for centuries. A young girl’s perspective of love and sex goes through stages as she gets older. Thinking to yourself…”That boy is cute,” is on one side of a learning experience and losing your virginity is at the other end of love’s sexual curiosity. Once I was no longer curious about what sex was like to experience, lust had still not been born in my heart. Lust didn’t creep into my mind’s bedroom until I was nearly eighteen. Prince was beside me in my heart through these emotions. Love carries an array of emotions and I can say I have had every one of those possible, maybe even a couple that have never occurred to anyone else. I am amazed with the bouquet of feelings that I have carried for this sexy man named Prince. Whom I love. When Prince sang…”It’s gonna be lonely.” It has been. When Prince sang…”When you were mine.” The words haunted me. When Prince sang…”Private Joy,” If anybody asked me, I belonged to him. When Prince sang…”Little Red Corvette,” my heart raced. As I look back on listening then and listening still…It touches me deeply to hear…Prince sing the words: “Take me With You,” “She came in through the outdoor,” “You don’t have to be beautiful,” “Baby I just can’t stand to see you happy, and more than that I hate to see you sad,” “I’m gonna drive her to Tennessee,” “You’re such a prick tease,” “You like it in the dark, but I like a blue light.” “You left me in the dark,” “And at the top of the page he wrote…Shy.” “They spent their whole lives tryin’ to tell each other what time it was,” “Let’s close the shop and take a drive,” “When the lights go down and it’s just you two,” “Right back here in my arms,” “Oh I see this is what you wanted,” “How we gonna make it in this brave new world,” “This love has got to be crucial,” “Adam never left Eve.” “Lover, Trust,” “If she could be muse to the pharaoh,” “Two seven’s together,” “I’m just trying to get you satisfied,” And so beautiful Prince sings…”For what it’s worth, you’re somewhere here on earth.” After hearing all of these songs…and having an emotion paired with every line…I cannot describe the personal emotion that I get when I listen to “I’m Yours,” and I ponder on the “For You,” album’s release on my birth date. If I am the girl that Prince is amused with…I can know with certainty, that Love is immortal. I can tell the world that there is evidence of reincarnation, with joy in repetition. I can tell the world that Prince and I have loved each other for ages beyond this life span, and I can know that with absolute certainty that regardless of situation of life, or mountains difficult to move, that true love will find it’s own way down the winding road that leads to her door. And I can be certain that if I took my last breath today, that my heart would catch Prince on his last. In a private domain, where purple castles grow, and skin is all that separates one lover from another, I have stripped down to the emotional truth of two people sensually engaged in the idea of pleasing each other, and how It is a blessing like no other under Heaven. With God at the center of this prayer, some kinds of love are long lasting, yet not never ending…I pray for every man and every woman to find their perfect one.

firstly, do your research Prince has a bad bad BAD reputation for helping others and secondly, the music industry is MUCH different than what it was when Prince started and is still MUCH different than what Prince could ever know with his current legendary status my advice: avoid the majors, don't expect anything more than being happy making a living on an indie label or DIY at the very least, tour tour tour and have fun doing it but then again, i ain't prince

I once wrote to Prince asking for help with my career and he invited me around for tea to discuss things. He was really pleasant and gave me loads of tips.
He then took me into the studio where he was working on the Black album....in fact if you listen closely I did some handclaps on Cindy C. After, we had punch and pie and he waved me off from the door. Great day.

The right people can help you get booked for gigs and with any luck, contacts with someone who can sign you. An indie label is the way to go. Even though that aspect of the business has it's share of sharks too, at you least you'll have a shot at not being screwed over. Oh yeah, and get yourself a good lawyer. It'll save you a lot of tears. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Here's a serious answer...get some serious music industry buzz and he'll notice you. Send a request for contact via your agent. It'll help if you're a young beautiful brunette woman.
You see the problem here though, right? If you are able to generate some buzz from your music, you don't need Prince's help. Now a question for you: Is there really any advice that Prince could give you that would help your career? There are people out there in the music industry who would be more than happy to warn you of the pitfalls, people a little more accessible than Prince.
