As a musician and songwriter, he's transcended race and I assume this question is relating to his music. Now if you're talking about Prince the human being, I couldn't answer that without a DNA analysis.

Black - he put out an album called "Goldnigga" with a sista's legs on the front cover. and he seems to have a problem with relationships.

White - he cares alot of about his guitars and has a rock star swagger.
