Original, always original, even stuff that I already bought as a bootleg before.I still buy anything that comes out officially. Prince has a fan base that would love to buy anything he releases from the vault, even if they already have bought it before. This is something that Prince himself probably is not aware of, hence his paranoia of bootleggers.
They only sell what the fans want, plus their stuff is not edited and doesn´t come with ugly looking CD covers.

Absolutely original, when they're official and factory pressed.
On CD I have basically all Prince releases (LP and singles, barring the Hit'n'run CD singles).

Still, I'm not for the "only download" releases.
I would pay $25.00 to Prince for a "The Chocolate Invasion" factory pressed CD (to say), but in no way I would spent money on some "cold" mp3 releases.

Originals all the way! hate downloadin or copies and even tho Prince can be a twat sumtimes. I think they deserve to get paid 4 there work as cd sales etc are rapidly reducing due 2 downloads etc. so its a good deed for me and others to BUY cds for the artists you love amen!

I downloaded a lot of shit last year, and now I'm buying all of them on CD.
I love CD's...The covers, the case, the liner notes. If I had a record player I'd get Vinyl. They're so big and wow.
I like the way the draw I keep all my cd's in look...its so colorful and alphabetized.

I hate mp3...they're so disorganized and impersonal and strange. I want something I can hold.... Something that won't vanish when my computer spazzes out.

I personally want to have all the released materials hard copy because there are posts about art work, album liners etc that are not available with downloaded versions.

Some things are just not feasible to buy anymore like Gold Nigga... I refuse to pay >$300 for something that is probably a CD-R. I heard it one time, that was enough for me.

I don't have the Black album because I am too afraid to buy off ebay or amazon for fear it is a pirated copy, and haven't found it locally.

I guess I will try my luck on ebay, since that is one of the few albums I don't have

Also, I want the real one in case there was something odd, like the CD that had one last "hidden" song and it followed about 10 "empty" tracks. A bootlegger may not realize it was intentional, and "fix" it, thereby tainting my listening experience.

I know it sounds crazy, but the lovesexy 1 track, and hidden kisses gimmicks that Prince did, adds to the whole experience. Same as the cd artwork. There was just recently a post about the words written around the border of a cd that we were all trying to figure out what it said.
You would miss this if you have a reproduction or download.

Now for things that are just too out of my $$ reach...
