Which phase from For You till now do u think P had the best 'do? I love the Lovesexy/Batman/Graffiti Bridge looks. I'd have to say the worse were the choppy look he sported during Dirty Mind and whatever that was on top of his head in the Musicology video.

The worst phase would definitely have to be TGE and Rave eras. He was trying all of these different crazy hairstyles (even adding glitter) and it was a bit too much.

As for the best, I would say the Diamonds and Pearls era. Also the current phase (04 to present) is cool.

i was none too chuffed with the yeti long hair look..

LOVE him with 'long' hair, LOVE the PR hair, quite like him with short hair too (Parade), liked the typhoon (D&P), like the Dirty Mind / Controversy rough and tousled look.... what's left?

awww, i loved the controversy "drowned rat" 'do.

i think he was starting to look a little sketchy around the time of RAVE, with the borderline mullet/my little pony hairdo.

i like his hair now, though it's getting a bit tired. if he's going to settle on one hairstyle now, i wish he'd go back to the scruffy-ish, part down the middle/bangs in the face 'do. that's sharp on him.

The short hair (Parade, early SOTT, some Musicology) looks the best. I hated the LoveSexy and Rave look. He is to small for that big poofy hair. He looks like a girl in some photos. I like the Diamonds and Pearls Typoon but then he grew it out crazy in 1993 and the same with Musicology...some days it looked tight and then he poofed it out in the front (like at the RRHOF).

Btw - The Gold/Emancipation era was my LEAST favorite look. He literally wasn't Prince to me in that era with the short hair with the color on top, sporting the NPG starter jacket and all that. I was not feeling it at all! Then the turmoil in his life worsened and he became quite pale and thin during that time. It was obvious that he was not in a good place then, it showed in his look. The other look that tied for worse was the Coolio look - awful!

I liked the lovesexy/graffiti bridge hair and the purple rain hair. gorgeous.
