It's so strange, wherever we go on holiday I seem to find a blue light on looking from our holiday balcony and sing Blue Light for the next week or so.
I love the album and the morning papers is a fave with both myself and my little Paisley trouper(daughter). Sweet dreams  | |

I list it in my top 7 to 10 faves. I really like the songs I like and it has some really good ones. Just 2 or 3 or a few parts on 2 or 3 I don't care for. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done. | |

Oh btw I do have female parts last time I checked Like Gold, Rave, Emancipation,Diamonds... it had some strong tracks in there...Got to back Skippy on this one Warners should have done a better job promoting it! The kid was definetely bustin his booty doin a whole lot shows behind it.. | |

Ahhh... the summer of '92 , that cd was the joint!! I couldn't stop playing that cd in my car that year!!, drove my friends nuts . They couldn't wait 'til his next cd came out so I would put that one to bed!! , still enjoy to this day, great memories, and it brought the debut of Carmen Electra (good or bad on how U look @ it .) | |

I effing love this album. I thought it was much better than DAP at the time, and still do. It STILL sounds good, and I love working ouyt to a lot of the tracks on it- The Continental and The Max are great running tunes.
It also has The Morning Papers which is one of my favorite Prince songs- when he sang it at The 02 on the 6/9/07 I swear, I almost flung myself from my seat I was so happy. I told a joke about the woman, who asked her lover "why is your organ so small?" he replied "I didn't know, I was playing in a cathedral" | |

I also loved this LP at the time and for amny years after, altho by the late 90s it had severely dated. Funnily enough though, my LEAST fave trak was Morning Papers which seems so loved here - I found it pat and annoying. I also found the album overproduced, as was D&P, meaning that this was a trend that was here to stay (cue Emancipation, Rave etc....) "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"
