Ok, ok, ok... Prince is a a beautiful human specimen... and that's coming from another male! But is ANYONE besides me sick of seeing Prince's predictable "come hither" stare -- those green doe eyes, those pouty lips, that perfectly positioned mole -- plastered all over anything released by him?

With all the talent he possesses, no one can ever say Prince is letting/has let his image dwarf his musical output. And, indeed, the "purple aesthetic" has been much of what we've come to love about the little genius. But the only celeb I can think of more nauseatingly into their OWN looks and sappy sweet"sexiness" is Pariah ...oops... Mariah Carey!

Above all else, I've come to appreciate Prince as an ARTIST, a conduit of inspiration! So I for one would welcome seeing more inspired, evocative, and less self-aggrandizing Prince-related visuals -- album covers like "Sign 'o' the Times," "Around the World in a Day" or "The Rainbow Children" (minus his typical mug shot on the CD's spine... although I admit the subtlety was kinda cool).

...To a point, giving good face (as Madonna might put it) represents Glam in all of its glory. Beyond that, it's just plain tacky.

Yeah, sometimes. I think if it wasn't for the cover on LoveSexy, he would have sold a lot more copies. And I wouldn't have had to turn the cd jacket over and hide it from my homeboys. I get tired of hearing the Gay remarks. Not that there is anything wrong with it (ala Seinfeld).

Well,you have to ask the Ladies,but no wonder you say that cause you are a Guy. I Never get Sick of Looking at him cause he's Gorgeous so why would I? I feel men are Very Jealous of Prince and pick on him because he has all the Ladies Swooning over Him while the women they want couldn't give a Fig about Them. I know several Women friends who's Husbands or Boyfriends just couldn't take the lack of Sex and Obsessiveness over Prince. I think the Guys are so Stupid and Funny Really. They need to Grow-Up over this issue already. It's too Bad but some women just need to fantasize about Prince while they are Making Love to somebody else to Achieve an Orgasm I've Heard my friends tell me this so they have his posters up in their Bedroom.

Not really, as long as the music's good I don't really have a problem, then again I don't have a problem loooking at Prince, so...
But I do cringe at that shower photo from the "controversy" days.

Though he's never turned me on, I agree he's a great looking person, y'all. I'm just weary of him -- as is the case with Mariah, Britanny, Janet, that idiot lead singer from Creed, etc. -- always begging us to notice. He's certainly got a LOT more things going for him.
