TRC live was a real treat too!!
I CAN'T WAIT for the live album! I think i could be very happy with Prince going in a Jazz direction for a while "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

'Rainbow Children' is probably the best track on the album.
It was even more awesome seeing him do it live in London. The first time I'd seen him, and what comes up as first song ... 'Rainbow Chillun' Yay!!! This is one of his best ever jams.Musically speaking, with the whole 'Rainbow' album, Prince is probably on the best form of his career. If only he'd let some really good jazz soloists into his band, and let them rage every so often between the words, and oh my god!!! I hadn't actually noticed the coda as being a Miles homage until I came here, so it's been kinda ... educational.

Personally I love She Loves Me 4 Me, yes it's kind of a simple little ballad but I just love it 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Supernova said: Twenty reasons why it's a GREAT track, regardless of where it ranks:
1. Blackwell's eighth notes on the tom toms interspersed with crisp rim shots... 2. The 3:31 mark when Prince kicks in the distortion pedal on the guitar the first time... 3. From the very first note - the thickness and tone of the Rhodes... 4. THE GROOVE... 5. The guitar playing... 6. The cartoon-ish (is that Camille?) voice that shadows Prince's vocals once the lyrics "Who is your real father?" kick in... 7. The incorporation of the Controversy era lyrics "Reproduction of a new breed leader, stand up, organize!"... 8. How Prince alternates vocal harmony and behind the beat vocals with the Camille-like voice..."The Agreement/with every birth/we keep it so/never changing one piece of it..." 9. The choir's vocal crescendo up to its apex... 10. The organ becoming more pronounced until the beginning of the coda... 11. The Coda 12. The Coda 13. The Coda ...In A Silent Way era Miles by way of Radiohead channeled into subtle, crashing, chaotic chords... 14. The flute on The Coda...(did I just compliment Najee? )... 15. Prince's vocal cue to Blackwell to come in at the 8:03 mark (gimme a beat)... 16. The guitar tone on this sublime coda... 17. Prince's vocal cue to Blackwell at the 9:15 mark for fills... 18. Prince's hands dragging across the fret board (as one reviewer called it a "fret rub") toward the very end... 19. The Coda could last another 10 minutes and it wouldn't be overkill, because it's brilliantly majestic... 20. THE GROOVE. Eric Cartman voice: Sweeet Yeahhh... [This message was edited Sun Nov 17 22:44:29 PST 2002 by Supernova] Put in away, only a musician could hear it. I couldn't have said better myself Super. Blue

No, not even close to Prince's best song. In fact, I can only stand to listen to 4 songs on that CD, and that's bad!

TheBluePrince said: Yup, I wouldn't say the very best. Surely Top 5 (in my opinion).
The song is pure musical genius, the guitar solo at the end that Segues to M2TP, is probably my favorite part of the album. Also The Sensual Everafter, is so Beautiful, another song only a genius could write. Blue Times...times How could you forget International Lover (ok only 7 minutes long) Whatever it is, it´s got to be PHUNKy!!!

I love that Santana type of Break down about 7 to 8 mins into the song, it should have went on for another 7 or 8 mins. That song is definetly the shit, all 10+ mins of it.

Crystal Ball, TRC, Temptation, Automatic, Come, etc... how could you forget: - joint 2 joint, 3 chains of gold, lady cap driver, god (instrumental), alexa de paris, condition the heart, I'm yours. okay, not all of this songs are over 8 minutes, but the arrangements kicks ass.
