During the Act II tour, Prince opened with his latest hit material (My Name Is Prince/Sexy MF/Love 2 The 9's/The Beautiful Ones)

That entire opening was already hot, but I knew I was in for something amazing in the midst of a killer of hits/fan favourites. He was rocking that guitar so well that night.

He ran through sharp, short versions of Let's Go Crazy and Kiss, but then he cut to an amazingly well performed duo of Irresistible Bitch ands She's Always In My Hair, for me the first times I ever heard them live in person.

He used W&L's vocal samples for Irresistible Bitch and the entire performance gave me goosebumps. But then he played She's Always In My Hair and then juggled his guitar for a few minutes, before turning to Bambi to close the blockbuster medley of songs.

I love, love, love these songs; all of them together would have made an awesome live EP.

The entire night was great, btw. The encore excisted of What's My Name/Come/Endorphinmachine (all three had yet to be released) and Peach, before coming back (while the lights were already on) for Johnny.

I suppose I was the only one who saw Act II live.

For me, I got that feeling from the Lovesexy medley of I Wanna Be Your Lover/Head/Love Bizarre. The way IWBYL opens is still amazing to me and instantly makes me happy.

But the Adore synth, cut by that Miko guitar. Real hot. Makes me happy too. Even though I had seen the show before a view times before, he made me actually JUMP with that intro guitar. The sound there was so much better than the open air concerts in Rotterdam.
