"Money don't Matter 2nite," is a beautiful song...Although the song is an intellectual idea, such as "Free," these compassionate emotions, are so nice to hear through Prince's career. cool

IT IS EXCELLENT, one of my all time favs.
I love the fact he's dealing with deep issues in this song and I love the actual music too.

Have you noticed Prince's best songs are often when he deals with real issues. Think Sign O The Times, PR, Dear Mr.Man, Resolution.

i used to think this as well, but it has grown on me considerably. nod

i think it was cuz i first heard it on the very best of prince (the second or third prince related album i bought mushy

). it felt out of place, for some reason. like someone said, not real prince-ish. as much as it's grown on me, i still wouldn't have put it on "the very best of" him, as there as so many other better choices. decent enough tune though, still not my fave cool
