I was thinking about this this morning...when I had gone to an Earth Wind & Fire cd...to read something, and when you see a song that is listed...by...I Prince...ya start to wonder...If it's someone else or one of Prince's alias' names.
I believe that Prince has contributed to things we are unaware of... I look at Solo's album and see...Prince Street and the Executive Producers are Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis...1995...and I say..... "I give up!" "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Now be honest about some of these songs. Could Prince have done theses songs justice? Some were not meant to be sung by Prince. I know Prince gave "nothing compares 2 U" to The Family and then Sinead covered it better then I think thing The Family or Prince could have done. "Nasty Girl", really can't see Prince singing this one. The version we have of Appolonia doing Manic Monday, Prince was right to pull it back for The Bangles who did it justice. Look at Sugar Walls, once again can't see Prince singing this one. Now "Open Book" which Prince gave to Martika and "Love thy will be done" I prefer Prince singing them. "I hear your voice" is one that I think with some minor lyric changes Prince should have kept 4 himself...

"Eternity" which was originally written for (and rejected by) Vanessa Williams then was given to Sheena Easton and recorded a year later by Chaka Khan. I like Sheena's version better.
