Do You believe that Prince will ever make another movie?

What would you want it to be about?

I think quite a bit about seeing a movie built around "The Rainbow Children." The idea is all there really...It's just missing characters names and a script...It could even be narrated as the album is...

I don't think so.

I wish he would but I think he would have by now. Making movies isn't cheap and after grafitti bridge not being a success I think the only films prince sticks to making are concert dvd's.

prince does well in love stories.....more romance.....that never goes out of style....as for the content.....should be girlie.....brings the outdoors...in...an autobiography.....let prince tell his story...his way....though it should be when he has found what the is lacking to make his life happiest....remember the movie amadeus.....kind-of that....meets this century....mzsexybaby

I dont think he should make another movie, unless its a live performance dvd. His legacy should be great music, great performer. Nothing less than GREAT at this point in his career. Do what he is best at! I cant stand when ACtors try to be rock stars, rock stars try to b actors. Senseless. P is a music legend now, keep it that way aiiiight

I hope so much that there will
NEVER be a remake of Purple Rain
No one nevermore can top the original.

Without fail it would be great to

When "The Rainbow Children," talks about deconstructing the digital garden...It can certainly paralell all of the grief Prince has taken with the Internet abusing music distribution...

The Wedding Feast offers the idea of Prince finding his love.

Family Name...Is the perfect song for overcoming historical behaviors that have hurt all walks of society for the sake of the "Everlasting Now."

Prince has already written a fantastic story...bringing it to life would certainly be successful...because we already know how much we love the music...

I believe he could do quite well in a movie but NOT in a movie where he is the central character...Prince could kick ass in a funny cameo role, pretty much like David Bowie who really sucks onscreen unless he's doing a cameo like in Zoolander

It would be cool if would do another movie. I've only seen PR and that's practically a musical. I have no idea what the other movies are like. I'd bet if he did do another movie he be sure to do a "cameo" and it would star someone else. I just can't see him taking that leap. Would be cool though. I guess I should watch the other (two?) movies he's been in when I get the chance. I'll catch up one of these days

Perhaps finally a historical movie that's true to form like an epic Bible story with people of color. Maybe the Song of Solomon. Could be like Jesus Christ Superstar.

Or if not that, a thriller, yeah, he could be a deranged fan or hit man or something exciting, gripping full of suspense.

I think Prince has totally lost that lighthearted, sense of humor and youthful joy and friskiness that used to make him enjoyable. I think most of his use to be fans would got to the movies just to boo him and throw things at the screen. We live in Princeworld but most real people hate him.

For humanity's sake, I hope not

Other than a comedic Funk version of Sunset Boulevard with Prince in the role of Gloria Swanson... I have a script I made of this..

prince "I still am big!!!!!" he says as he holds up one of his Double LP's "Its the Albums that got smaller!!!" he then holds up a CD to compare tghe size.

Or for those of you who have seen it... I think he would be good in a rendition of The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Dr. Phibes in the camp 1970's horror flick, was an undead ex 1920's band leader that sought revenge for the accidental death of his wife on the doctors table. Phibes was played by Vincent Price, and eats out of a hole in the back of the neck.. LOL Prince would have fun with this project as it could not be taken seriously, could show once again his comedic talents and with the character being a band leader of a by-gone era... it would be right up his alley and would be an interesting soundtrack.

Finally, and this is the oldest idea I have had...

1976 - Kris Kristopherson and Barbara Streisand (was supposed to star Elvis Presley originally as the washed up rock star strung out on drugs but Elvis's management would not let him have second billing.) A STAR IS BORN

The film was a hit all three times.

I assume y'all know the story. Aged star of either hollywood or music world depending on which film you see discovers a young girl with talent and gives her a break as he battles his deamons... of course they get bthe better of him and the old star dies right at the hottest rise of his discovery.

Prince instead of being washed up actor or drug addicted rock star could be obsessed with his masters...(he lived it) could be a prisoner of his image...(one of the things the name change was about) seriously he could really take interest in this story as a venue to show the world how shitty the record biz is... I am sure there are a lot of stories... meanwhile helping a sexy lady rise to stardom... eventually commiting suicide (Prince loves killing himself) in the end over some loophole he found (aka David Bowie rights case) that allowed him to control his masters or rather take them away from the company only in the event of his death. A man dying for his art.

There are some interesting elements here... Prince on the B ball court would be cool for a setting for a scene. Prince at a ping pong table for another scene... these would be intersting elements as they counter one another... you don;t expect to see the sultan of seduction playing b ball.

live concerts and studio scenes... perhaps he could have a project too ambitious for the record companies to take a bite of and dies in order to get the music out there.

I have screen treatments of all three of these in case someone wants to do this. Steal the idea... I'll see you in court.

Perosnally I think he is just stickin 2 making his home movies now and prays they never c the light of day..
