I think "Did Prince ever wear men's clothing?" would be a more appropriate question.

Acctually, i dont think hes ever woren a womans-cloth, because the cloths he wear on stage are specially designed for him, making them P-clothing. wink

Has Prince ever worn women's clothing? Are you actuall asking that?

eek

Next I bet you're going to be asking if he ever wears makeup or high heels.

Seriously though. He seems to favour custom suits these days -sometimes in fabulously girly colours and cuts, but suits nonetheless. Most of his wardrobe over the years appears to have been custom-made, but yes, he has definitely worn clothing that could be regarded as women's clothing or been too androgynous to be clearly mens' or womens'.

My point was, in the early days, dirty mind -era, did he really go buying wimmens hells.
And the leg-warmers, or did he have them custom-made?

Oh no doubt those were women's shoes and jewelry back in the day. Dude didn't have enough $$$ yet to go have his own made. His feet are small enough (a womens' 7 or 8, if I'm not mistaken) that he could easily find shoes to fit. I bet he does still have a few pairs now for everyday use that are just women's shoes from the store.

Everybody is bitching about how androgynous and gay P looks, but to me hes quite harmless.
But that may be because i was a fan of the ark and Bowie before i got into P. And compared to the guys of J-rock, hes tame (yes, this is a guy)

, so have P ever worn a womens-cloth?
if so i would like a pic. cool

I just wanted to point out that Prince is quite masculine compared to some other artists AND i dont think its bad either if you look manly or girly, P looks funky either way.

They're not even close to being in the same market. I doubt many Prince fans -or western music listeners at all -would know who they are.

These kind of artists belong to a fairly specialized niche. Prince is more butch than they are, but he still out-girl's most women.

BOWIE! love

Does that really count though, in comparison? Ziggy was a phase, and so was the pre-Ziggy Hunky Dory flowy hair and "man dresses". razz
