Not What You Think!

In the song, "The Greatest Romance that has ever been sold," Prince says:
"Not What You Think! but, What You Believe. What was the real reason that Adam never left Eve?"

Here we have a possible discussion that makes opinions neither wrong or right. They just are what they are to you...because this question is based on what you believe.

I suppose there is a never-ending romantic reason for Adam to keep Eve by his side. I believe that God created them as a part of eachother. It is a natural feeling for Adam to need and love a part of himself, and a natural feeling that she would feel as a lost body outside of his cage.

Well there weren't any other women you see, not until Cain or Abel had it off with their own Mum. and then Adam would have had to have a shag with his own grandaughters or something.

Alternatively we all descended from different branches of a common ape type ancestor, which was once a tree climbing mammal, which was once an amphibian, which was once a fish which was once a multiple cell organism, which was once a single cell organism.

But I like the song...

Yep ... & at the same time there r other faiths that teach that soul mates is something man made and that we can perhaps have more then 1 mate. I on the other hand LOVE the fact that there is some1 specifically made 4 me, my Eve. This is 1 of my favorite topics 2 discuss: Adam & Eve and P's music ...

God made them sexually compatible, then kicked them outa Eden for shagging. I mean, the entire apple stuff is just a fairy tale; it's a coverup for penetration. Snake and all.

God needs therapy, cuz he for sure messed up big time.

The bible just says "forbidden fruit", it never said it was an Apple. I know what Prince mean's by it's not what you think it's what you believe.

He never left her because she was the last of his relationship with God. When Adam and Eve sinned their fellowship with GOD diminished. All that remained was their intimate relationship with each other. They clung to each other. They were one flesh. How can you leave that which is you? Eve became the human channel by which Adam could communicate with God and he for her. Adam never left Eve but she never left him either. Through each other they find salvation and a return to the paradise their God created for them.

Now if Prince makes a song about Lilith and supposedly the others living outside the garden of Eden, then he is truly into that JW religion with no going back! Guess it's better than joining Tom Cruise's mothership.

When you think of how many of us have suffered from a broken heart...even though those loves lead us to the right love...Everybody wants to know that GOD has designed for every man...His Eve.
When Eve has found her Adam...she doesn't care about being the prettiest girl in the world to every man...She just wants him to think that she is pretty for the one girl that she is...That is sweet...and sexy...and romantic...

In Jesus' name I want everyone to find their perfect mate...because why have to bring a series of broken relationships and rolls in the hay...to your true mate.
