I rarely post on here but today I just felt like having a rant. Every few days I type in prince.org and as the page loads I hope with all my might that there will be some great news. A concert? a something!!!!! BUT NO. NOTHING. It's the same crap / different day.. a post about your fav song.. a post about what song u are listening to.. a post about his women..a post about bootlegs and how he sucks b/c he shuts down every good site on him.. a post about his hair.. a post with pictures ( i confess that i do enjoy those greatly ) .. a post about song lyrics..a post about what if Prince only had one nut..Every day, it's the same thing over and over and over.. WHY!!!! WHY CAN HE JUST GET OFF HIS ASS AND TOUR?!!! I haven't seen him since 06 when he was promoting Tamar in Atlanta.. feels like 10 years ago! It's been SO long since there was anything juicy or exciting going on w/ him.. The fingerbowl water thing was pretty good though.. closest thing I have read lately that proved he was still alive!

Ok.. rant over..As usual, in a few days I will return to Prince.org to repeat the same let down process of nothing new.. Guess I'm not really so freakin over it after all...

Why can't he get off his ass and tour?! This man lives and breathes music! I think he's entitled to take a break once in a while. I think us Prince fans are lucky,we get new music and tours often. Now try being an MJ fan like myself, where there's nothing going on at all lol. Prince is always working hard though, he deserves some time to himself. I think Prince fans have just been spoiled over the years because of the fact that he puts out music and tours regularly, but anyway music is his life, he'll be back soon enough.

Paisleywmn you must be new or just not too bright. Prince does things his way in his own sweet time, you have no choice but to get over it.

I think its wise to wait while Madonna, Mariah, and Janet tours soak-up all the Summer $$$$.

I believe that mosmt of their shows won't sell well in this economy. Scalpers and Ticket Brocker companies horde a great number of the tickets locally..

When they cannot sell the tickets for inflated prices, you will see rows empty seats upfront. Unless the Brockers/Scalpers give the tickets away (I've benefitted from this in the past).


Prince's "Musicology Tour" was affordable and reasonable. Plus, there were surprise opening acts.


Still, I think you've seen his last major, major tour.


I think he plays Las Vegas this Autumn/Winter..

If that were to be the case, then I'd fly out there. I hope he does at least one more major tour and this time make it a World Tour but if not, combining Musicology and 21 Nights, Prince has done good.

I'm not new.I have been a fan for many, many years. And I am very bright. I just felt like ranting for a moment...People get on here and act like they are perfect or if they defend him they are the utlimate Prince fan etc..what the hell ever. .. And OMG if he decides to tour... Should get on my knees and say "oh thank you Prince, thank you for your kindess in touring, sir".. please.. He's a human being just like anyone else is. I respect him, I will always be a fan no matter what, if he never tours again at least I will have the memories of the other 17 times I saw him. Sometimes people on here need to take a moment to realize that not everything posted on here is dead serious.. I was having a bitch and moan moment.. just whining like a spoiled brat.. which I guess I could have saved everyone that but hell, don't fry my ass over the flame for it or call me not too bright. But posting on here opens the door for it.. Learned my lesson.. I def won't be posting anything on Prince.org again..So much for that "family" community..Way to hostile for me on here ...Tootles!

Isn't there something in the Bible that says aprox. "That which you desire the most will be kept just out of reach"??? something like that...I feel if you ever want anything or anyone too much you will miss something in the process of attaining it and sabotage yourself. enough said.....
