The thought of Kate singing 'Horny Pony' cracks me up. "I'm much too hot to be cool"

i dont think prince could've written "kite" either, but thats just me I'd be worried for him if he had written it, considering the subject matter and all.

Actually the gist of the song is simply about wanting to get away from all things that piss you off. But the first line is a reference to period pains. Unlikely that Prince would have considered such a lyric.

SquirrelMeat said: TheFreakerFantastic said: The only song she did that was penned and duetted with Prince was 'Why Should I Love You?', a very Prince sounding track on 1993's The Red Shoes album. Its hardly A duet. Its a Prince mixed track with Prince and Lenny Henry lending some harmonies. Lenny Henry the comedian? Say What?

Kate sent Prince the mastertapes for Why Should I Love You and he added
various instruments and restructured the song. He also did a lot of backing vocals for it, but the one verse Kate had wanted Prince to sing (not that she'd asked him specifically) he didn't do, so she got Lenny Henry to sing it for her.
