Actually, Prince wanted to give that album away for free, as a freebie for Guitar Player or sumthing. The Dolphin video on the vid was also played live, but that version was not included.

The only VHS tapes that I have been able to find for sale of it are from other countries, and won't work in my VHS player. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

The vhs is surfacing sometimes on ebay. Check back. The cd, very rare, is available (in a limited number of copies) through www.madhousemusic.co.uk. And it's VERY expensive. Still, it's one of the originals. Damn, the link doesn't work. Anyway, type 'madhousemusic' on google and U'll find it. [Edited 8/13/08 16:23pm]

Yes, it is. There's a lot of brilliant stuff which didn't see the light of day, but it's been a deadly sin to not publish 'The undertaker'. Anyway, good chance to have it. Good luck, U outlaws

I bought it last week for £10 from amazon.co.uk! Bargain. It was worth it just for his cover of the Rolling Stones 'Honky Tonk Woman'.

this is one of my favorite prince...albums? videos? projects? i don't know what the hell to call it, but i love it. i love the rawness, the immediacy, and the down-and-dirty simplicity of it. it's so opposite to the way prince usually does things and it worked perfectly for him.

Poor Goo is about his former stagehand/technician McGoo, who also posts here on the org from time to time ( you can read his posts in the Michael Bland threads where Michael B. would post, too). The Cap´n Crunch cereal reference can be heard in various songs, like "In All My Dreams", "Joint 2 Joint" and the version of "Poor Goo" off that Undertaker video. He says something like " I know you don´t want Cap´n Crunch when you can have Trix" or something like that, probably meaning "Why settle for less when you can have something better ?". " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

what it means is that the NPG IS IN THE MF HOUSE!!! u can't mess with michael b and sonny t!!!
4 anyone that keeps wanting 2 say w & l blah blah blah, hip them 2 the brilliant undertaker and show how it's just these 3 tearing shit up and watch their jaws go down. and i think it means that vanessa threw up the pills cause she wanted 2 live man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
