The article ranks the all time super bowl half time performances not by TV ratings but a list based on perfomance compiled by the Fox Sports. It was a list that was just compiled so how is it "old news"???? Second it is an anouncment about next years half time show, not last years (or the year before when Prince actually performed). And you seem to forget the title of the thread"Prince rated #1 superbowl halftime show" it isnt about who is performing NEXT year in the superbowl its about when Prince made a his performance #1 of the superbowl.Okay maybe o Brucy got a 2 second mention that he is playing the superbowl--WHO CARES IMHO. My point still being and in MY view the superbowl is OVER! Its OLD news to me. The new superbowl isnt here yet and O Brucy can change his mind just like every other musician can. Move forward( I tend to say I dont believe o Brucy will perform until I see him on stage during the actual halftime show IMHO).

His is the only halftime performance I've ever watched. But I must admit I caught it on youtube, not live. His performance gave me goosebumps and it made me want to see him live, really really bad.
