Haha, with the way his musical output is going these days, I'll probably end up doing the same thing. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Ooh, how rude of me, I did not even answer the question. And, no; I don't. Not if it means a real turned in on itself album like The Rainbow Children that is too creepy to listen to. I wish Prince would just whip something together spontaneously, like something he really is feeling, whatever it is and make it beautiful in a short time, then put it out and actually play it live, so when you really like certain songs on the album, you at least have a chance of hearing it live, instead of a lame rendition of Play That Funky Music. 
As Anx was talking Parade, Prince once saidin an interview he thought he did not have enough time with that album, that is was rushed. If rushing equals genius, then, Prince, please rush into things some more. [Edited 8/13/08 0:42am] |

a double cd would be great. isn't that the only format he's never done
before? i mean, sign o the times is a double cd but it wasn't recorded as such since it was an LP to begin with that ended up being a 2cd later on. so i think a double cd album recorded and tracked as such would be one of the few things we haven't had from prince yet. i hope he's taking some time off just to have fun and take all of that relaxed attitude and new inspiration into the studio when he goes back to mpls this autumn. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
